Welcome to Innishvilla Youth team 2010/11 - Cork Youth League Division 1 Champions 2009/10

The youth team has folded and the position with the players is that the registrations now belong to the Youth League. As the club has not folded and have a team currently playing junior football will the club may ask some of these players to play junior Football ? To do this they must be registered with the AUL even though they were registered with Youth Leauge. Any player who wishes to transfer will have to contact the league through Finbar Walsh in order to arrange the paper work.

Wilton have already made enquiries about some layers but the transfer window will only open on Dec 1.

The Managerment team for the Youth team in 2010 / 11 is Bernard Murphy. Bernard, who continues his involvement with the team which started last season, has Kick Start 1, 2 and FAI Senior Intro coaching badges;

Bernard will be contacting all eligible players from last season to sign up for the coming season which starts on the weekend of August 21 / 22. If you are new or old to the club we woill be glad to welcome you. Call Bernard on 086 841 4548

Results:

Sep 25 Youths Wilton Utd 2 - 2 Innisvilla Goals from Damien Galvin and Donncha O'Driscoll gets Villa their first points of the season.

In our third game we went down at home 0-3 to Fermoy

In our first game we went three up against Rockmount mostly due to a formidable display in midfield from Eoin Delaney who has probably scored goal of the season. Stevie Gerard could not have done better. With the help of the referee and some tired legs we gave away the Rockmount winner in the last few minutes.

Our second match was a bit like the first, one up then back to 1-1 and after running out of steam with no Delaney or Galley in the middle of the park we gave away a goal in the last few minutes.

Discipline: this year any player sent off for head butting will get an automatic suspension for the remainder of the season.Training: first session Monday August 9th at 6:30 in Knocknacurra. New players welcome.
