Valley Rovers Football & Hurling Under 9 &10 Parish
League
To assist and encourage the development of underage football and hurling, Valley
Rovers Juvenile Club is organising an under 9/10 Parish League during the months
of February, March and April 2006.
For the first two weekends, 05/02 and 12/02 six teams of
eight/nine players have been selected, three under tens teams, A, B & C plus
three under nines teams, D, E & F. Team
A, B and C will play against each other in a round robin as will teams D, E
& F. Games will be 15 mins per
half.
After the second weekends games (on the 12/02) all players
will be divided into four teams (Armagh, Tyrone, Laois & Galway) combining
under 9 and under 10 players. Each
game will consist of 20 minutes per half. Each
team will play each other once with the top two teams playing in a cup final,
and the 3rd and 4th teams playing in a plate final on
Sunday 12th March. Once
the football league is finalised the hurling league will commence.
New teams will be selected for the hurling round robin and league
competition, Team Deano, Team Sean Og, Team Ben & Team Jerry.
