A disappointing season; 6 walkovers conceded because we couldn't field a team.

Next Games: none; we will not be allowed to have an under 16 team in 2009/10 due to the number of walkovers we conceded. Players can sign for the youth team instead.

Results:

Sunday March 28th: Villa 2 - 2 Temple United 11:45 - top v bottom - they weren't happy. An opening goal from Aidan Walsh was pulled back by Villa and then we went ahead again from Eoin after great work bt Chris Harrington. We were unlucky to give away a late goal. But well played everyone.

 

Local Cup SAT FEB 14 Innishvilla 0 - 6 Leeds Crossbarry 11:45

Saturday February 28th Villa 1 - 3 Riverstown, Crossbarry 10:30. Great game and unlucky to lose. Chris Harrington scored a beauty from long range over the goalie. Well done Denis the manager!

 

Saturday November 27th Temple United v Innishvilla, Temple Park, 12.15pm. Meet in Crossbarry at 10:45; lifts welcomed. WALKOVER - Thanks lads

 

Sunday October 12 Crosshaven 3 - 1 Villa . Classic bottom of the table clash - a must win.  We were let down by three players who promised to turn up - if you weren't coming you could have said and we'd have got three replacements. Well done, again, to all the players who turned up, we were 1-0 up at half time but tiredness and playing up the slope went against us.

 

September 27th Innishvilla 0 -11 Ringmahon Rangers. With up to nine players away on Cork trials and playing the South East Final we had to field a mostly under 14 team. Thanks to all who played.

 

September 13th we conceded a walkover to Castleview and so are bottom of the division.
