Our first training session was held on Tuesday July 22nd. All training will be on Tuesday nights 7 till 8 in Crossbarry.A good season saw Villa finish mid table but how close we were to promotion. If we had beaten Corinthians in November then we'd have been promoted in their place.. If any team in the club was unlucky with fixture cancellations due to bad weather it was the 11's. We had to play four games in May and one in June just to finish off the season. If anyone doubts why we need a properly drained playing pitch then just look at how our season was disrupted.

The local cup run was the best of all the Innishvilla teams.

• Saturday March 14th Leeside Knockraha 1 - 0 Innishvilla,

• Saturday November 22nd Corinthian Boys A 2 - 0 Innishvilla, Castletreasure, 11.45am, 

• Sunday October 12th Innishvilla 3 - 1 Fermoy another great display from the 11's. Aaron scores for the third game in a row; Gary gets back his scoring boots and Ben Murphy cracks in his first of the season.

• Saturday September 27th Castleview 0 - 1 a solitary winner from Aaron Lyons send Villa into joint second place.

• Saturday September 13th Shane Runs Rings Round Rangers Innishvilla 6 - 0 Ringmahon Rangers - stunning hattricks from Shane O'Leary and Aaron Lyons gave Villa and emphatic victory in their second outing of the season. 

• Sunday August 31st Crosshaven 3 - 2 Innishvilla. An unlucky defeat; Villa led 2-0 at half time but Crosshaven hit back with three unanswered goals in the second half.

The Cup Trail

Saturday March 28th: Cup Innishvilla 0 - 4 Springfield Ramblers. The dream of cup glory ended for this season when premier league big guns Ramblers shot down the Villa channenge. Well done all and look forward to next seasons cup.

Saturday February 28th Local Cup: Rockmount 3 - 3 Villa - Villa go through on penalties As in the last round we waited till the penalty shoot out to dispose of Rockmount from division 1. Scorers were Aaron Lyons (2) and Gary Deane. Well done to Paul O'Brien for stopping two penalties.

The under 11's will be in division 2 this season. No long journeys for games except for Fermoy.
