Welcome to the 2008/9 Season in the Cork Schoolboys League. Each team has a
page containing fixtures, results and more. Please check in regularly for the
most up to date news on our teams.
The great work continues in the under age club - of the 6 teams in the league 4
are playing in division 1 of their leagues. Continuing our policy of the last
couple of years the under 11 teams are coming in at division 2 level. It
backfired last year but going by the results of the team when they were playing
smallie under 10 the CSL are confident division 2 is where they belong.Goodbye and hello - John Harte has stepped back after many years service and
is replaced by Denis Mulvihill. Michael Cronin is tied up in his business and
has handed over the under 15's to Finbar Walsh (hospital & pass come to
mind). Pat & Ger are managing & coaching the 11's; the 12's are
managed by Finbarr Desmond. No change at 13 & 14 where Mick Lyons and
Donal Lynch continue with their respective teams from last season; Kevin
Barry is running the smallies for 7's till 10's. And it's good o welcome
back Kevin Counihan, Bernard Murphy, Sam McCarthy, Martin O'Callaghan
Goodbye to Skevanish after many years service and hello to Knocknacurra.
Hello to all our new players at under 11 and goodbye to the very few who have
not rejoined.
