That was the season that was: what a year! Promotion for the under 12 and 13 teams - as champions of their divisions. Runner up spot for the 14's who miss out on promotion due to a reorganisation of the teams in the league; third place to the under 15's who just miss promotion. The under 11's were great but in a tough league were relegated.

 

 

Player of the Season

For his outstanding displays through the league coupled with his displays as cenre half in the Cork Kennedy Cup team. Darragh Murphy is player of the year for 2007/8

 

 

Player of the Month

A player from each team will be named as plater of the month starting in September. From these a Club Player of the Year will be chosen at the end of the season.

 

September   

Ronan Crowley for scoring two hat tricks during the month

October'   

Jack Murphy - starring for the 12's and 13's

November   

Chris O'Leary for playing outstanding games for the under 12's

December Gary Farrell for being both an outstanding striker and goalie in an excellent month for the 14's

January   

Gerard Rice for great performances for the 17's against Leeside and Mallow

February    

Tomas O'Brien

March   

Eoin O'Reilly for a hat trick in the under 11's first win in the league (and he also got one in April!)

April   

Darragh Murphy (under 13's) for a defender getting a hat trick against Ballinhassig on April 2nd

Top Scorers

Chris Harrington pulls ahead of Luke Counihan and Ronan Crowley to lead the goal scorers at the end of October. Table includes all games in the League and National Cup through Sunday October 28th.
