SUSPECTED
OVERAGE / ILLEGAL PLAYERS If a team manager suspects that a player on the opposing team is overage / illegal, he has the following course of action during a game: At half time, the manager can ask the referee to go to the opposing manager and request that the suspected illegal player sign his name and date of birth on the match card. If the suspected illegal player came on as a substitute in the second half, this same request can be made at full time. A refusal by any team manager to such a request will be taken as an admission of guilt. If a signature and date of birth has been obtained on a match card, the requesting club must inform the CSL Hon. Secretary by email to eddiefella@gmail.com after the match so that the sample can be checked and evaluated.
